Where’s Hillary Clinton’s medical report?

“The Secretary of State, appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate, is the President’s chief foreign affairs adviser. The Secretary carries out the President’s foreign policies through the State Department and the Foreign Service of the United States. On January 21, 2009, Hillary Rodham Clinton was sworn in as the 67th Secretary of State of the United States.”

Perhaps I am a tad cynical – wait – I am being far too modest.  I am very cynical and suspicious of a woman who has a position in our government that requires both responsibility and accountability and can deliver neither.  I realize that concussions are a common head injury and render a person not quite up to par for a few days or weeks but what has been hillary’s excuse for her incompetence since 2009?

TIME Picks Barack Obama As Person of the Year – Katie Pavlich.

WHERE IS MY AMERICA?

I have not always followed politics. I was one of those people who believed that my beloved America was in honest, capable hands. I believed the leaders were wise and responsible enough to keep my country free. I trusted the men and women that were either elected or appointed to do what was best for ‘we the people’. I did not give it a second thought.

I woke up one morning and wondered ‘where is my America’? Something just did not feel right. I realized that the very people I trusted to keep my country free were corrupt. They held no interest in protecting me or my rights under the Constitution. I no longer held them in high esteem nor did I trust that their decisions were what was best for ’we the people’.

I look around and I see and hear what makes no sense to me. I see my flag being urinated and defecated upon by Americans. I see a people who are not Americans coming into my country and taking what they have not earned and destroying what they do not value. I read about babies both unborn and borne being murdered because they are expendable. I understand that our prisons are overrun with the outcasts of society but yet they are sheltered, fed and cared for at my expense. I witnessed the people voting God out at a political convention. I hear people saying “Merry Christmas” with hesitation. The list is long of atrocities and I have only mentioned a few as I am overwhelmed.

I love America. I love what she once stood for. I love the brave men and women who have served and are serving to protect this great land. I despise those who wish her harm. I cannot find language strong enough to voice my disgust at our present government. We have no creditable leaders in our country today. We have only examples of people who would lead us down a path of immorality, corruption and destruction. These people I refuse to follow. These people I do not trust nor respect.

I am not a doomsday prophet but I do believe that if America continues on this path, she will create her own doom. I also believe in a holy and righteous God and I see this country as a stench in His nostrils. I pray that moral and responsible people rise up all across America and reclaim her for God and His glory. AJS

obama and holder – untrustworthy, to say the least

The message was clear: Taxpayers don’t want manipulative Gitmo detainees or their three-ring circuses of transnationalist sympathizers and left-wing lawyers on American soil. Period.    Read more at link below.  obama just doesn’t get it and holder should be in prison.

Michelle Malkin.

My two cents worth…..

I have made many observations over the past four years regarding racism in America. I did not vote for obama in 2008 but I, like many others, hoped and believed that once in office, obama would be the great uniter. Unfortunately, in my opinion, he has proven to be the greatest divider. I harbor no such hope or belief at this time that there will ever be any good changes brought about by obama regarding racism in America. I believe that change has to be brought about by the people themselves.

Over the past four years I have also been following national events and politics a little closer than ever before. I continue to note that almost everything appears to offend many of the black Americans today. Yes, they accept praise well for their accomplishments as most of us do but we dare not criticize their shortcomings or failures. I find it very convenient, this ability of theirs, to hide behind the color of their skin when confronted with consequences involving their choices while at the same time expecting other ethnic Americans to own up to theirs. Equality has the same definition for all Americans. It is only when those who are truly racists on both sides of the color spectrum put conduct before color that we will make any progress toward eliminating racism in America.

I have envisioned myself many times sitting on my front porch. The sun is down and I hear noises from up the street. I look and in the darkness I can see silhouettes. In the darkness I am able to distinguish the shapes as human. As the humans draw nearer, I am usually able to distinguish the number of approaching humans as well as their gender and size. With the illumination from my porch light, I am then able to recognize their skin color. It is unfortunate that the light of day does not allow us the same opportunity to view all humans as humans first.

Skin color is not a choice. It is not an excuse. It is not a privilege. It is not a punishment. It is not a reward. God created variety in nature. God created variety in mankind.     AJS

Politically correct? – I’d rather not be.

The modern politically correct movement began at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which is one of the most liberal colleges in the United States. Political correctness is a liberal degrading of the freedom of speech. George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four famously incorporated the notion of limiting thought through language (see Newspeak). Words or actions that violate political correctness are called politically incorrect.

At American universities, liberals began imposing political correctness to prevent recognition of differences among gender, religion, belief system, sexual orientation and nationality. In the 1960s, feminists began to demand that the neutral pronouns he, him and his be replaced with expressions like “he or she”, “him or her”, “them”, etc, even though the last one is actually grammatically incorrect. They argued that no one would be able to understand that the masculine gender included the feminine gender in neutral contexts. But this was just part of their campaign to redefine the social roles traditionally associated with masculinity and femininity. In science, political correctness punishes anyone who criticizes the theory of evolution, the theory of relativity, or liberal dogma about global warming.

Political correctness or P.C. also means the alteration of one’s choice of words in order to avoid either offending a group of people or reinforcing a stereotype considered to be disadvantageous to the group. More specifically, groups which (or whose putative leaders or other activists) claim some status as systemically oppressed or discriminated against will periodically attempt to change the terms by which they are referred to and demand that society as a whole change its usage of words as well.       Conservapedia
